Are you an Australian business?
Yes I am located in Geelong, Victoria and personally ship all orders myself.
The brands I stock are sourced from all over the world including our home soil, but all stock is located and shipped directly from Geelong.
Who runs this magic?
What a curl wants is run solely by Curly hair specialist and mum of 3; Fleur Alison.
Fleur has over 23yrs experience in Hairdressing and has done extensive curl courses including Rezo and Cut it Kinky.

Can I buy products in person?
I am predominantly online only, however I do offer local pickup from Hamlyn Heights which you can select at checkout rather than having your order posted. I also have a home salon in Hamlyn Heights and welcome you to come for a face to face consultation or product purchases.
Do you offer Curly hair services in Geelong?
Yes I do! I am currently taking new clients and would love to have you as a guest in my chair. I offer cuts, colours, styles, wedding hair as well as education.

Can I refill my clever curl or Everescents bottles?
Yes if you are local to me in Geelong I offer all refills on Clever Curl and Everescents. Please send me a text on 0412 742 221 or email on
hello@whatacurlwants.com.au
to arrange a time for you to bring your empty bottles. There’s also a 10% discount on all refills.
You can pay via cash, eftpos, afterpay and zip in person.
How quickly will my order be dispatched?
All orders will be sent in 24-48hrs, except for busy periods eg. Christmas or if we have a sale. Local pickups are usually ready within 24hrs. If you urgently need your order please reach out and I will always see how I can best accommodate you.
How much is shipping?
We offer a flat rate shipping price $10.95 Australia wide and $19.95 New Zealand wide. Local pickup is free.
Do you offer Afterpay or Zip?
Yes we have both!
What if I don’t know what products I need?
That’s ok! I am here to help you. Please reach out via email, phone or via my chat on my website (please note this is not a live chat, no AI robots here, only a real person!)
I am a Curly trained hairdresser and have extensive knowledge of all my brands and products on all different curl and hair types. This is the difference that shopping from What a Curl Wants can offer.

Do you offer samples?
Yes! Each order will receive complimentary samples. However I also offer mini sizes in most brands so you can try the small sizes before committing to the larger sizes.

What if I change my mind about what I ordered or what I ordered doesn’t fit or suit me?
That’s ok, we all make mistakes.
Please reach out to me to see if I can solve your issue. Refunds are generally given for change of mind, however it will be on a case by case basis and all items will need to be unopened, unused and in original packaging.

How can I find out when you will be getting more stock back in of my favourite products or brands?
Yes I get this question a lot and I am always working around the clock to restock your favs. You can click “Notify me” on any product if it’s out of stock and once it’s back in stock you will receive an email. Please note this doesn’t sign you up to anything, only that product restock email. You can also check my restock page here for updates and ETA’s or please reach out via my chat facility.

Do you offer free shipping?
Yes, There is Free shipping on orders sent anywhere in Australia over $200
How long will it take to receive my order?
There will be a delivery estimate at checkout once you go to place your order. However if you click here you can see how long it will take to receive your order. Please note they are estimates only. All our orders are shipping via Aus post and dispatch is normally 24-48hrs.
