Damn Gina turbans come in two sizes - Medium and Large. There is elastic at the back of the turban, making it adjustable for various head sizes. 

There is no elastic in the front of the turban.

The medium measures about 51 CMS relaxed and can stretch up to 58 CMS. This size works on most heads with a measurement of 52 CMS to 58 CMS. 

The large turban measures 56 CMS relaxed and can stretch up to 62 CMS and fits most heads from 58 CMS to 62 CMS. 

The exceptions for the above measurements

If you have very long (below bra strap) and super thick hair OR hairstyles like box braids, dreadlocks, etc., we recommend going for the large even for head sizes less than 58 CMS. This allows more room for your hair. 

wash and care for your silk goodies 

All our products are dyed with non-toxic dyes. The better you care for silk, the longer it lasts. 

Silk is dry cleanable 

You can hand-wash silk in cold water.

Always wash the colours separately from the whites. Some strong colours may bleed the first time. Please hand-wash them in cold water separately the first time. 

Machine Wash 

Use a delicates bag and do a delicate cold water cycle for all your silk garments. Wash colours separately from the whites.

Do not bleach and use a mild detergent.

How to Use:

1. Scrunch the cozy together and slide it over your head until it sits around your neck like a scarf. 2. Tip your head and your curls upside down. 3. Now, Slide one end of the cozy over your face and capture your hanging curls (like you were pulling a sock over your head, stopping once the last part of the cozy is on your forehead. 4. If your hair is longer than the cozy, you can tuck it in to protect the ends of your hair.

To wake up to amazing curls:

1. Find the end of the cozy, and slide the cozy off your head. 2. Tip your head and your curls upside down. 3. Using your hands like wide tooth combs, put your fingertips into your hanging curls and shake out your roots using small zig-zag motions with your fingertips. 4. You can scrunch the ends of your curls with damp hands to re-activate your product if desired.

"my crown area is flat after removing the turban."

This can happen as soon as you remove the turban and is temporary. We suggest you let your hair fall naturally for the first 10 minutes and then flip your head in front and give a good shake at the roots. This usually helps with the volume.

Another reason the crown flattens is when you have short or fine hair, and the fabric weighs on your crown, making it flat. We suggest making multiple small sections of your hair and tying them in loose knots all over - similar to knots before popping the turban on. This helps with keeping the volume for short and fine hair.
